Did You Know (DUK)
DUK Question: What do I need to know about passwords?
+ Answer: Make sure to keep your original passwords for your most important applications, tools, and websites, i.e., bank/brokerage accounts, email, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
A password length of 16 or more characters, using a minimum of four totally unrelated words is a good start for a strong password.
DUK Question: What do I need to know about Two Factor Authentication (2FA)?
+ Answer: Two Factor Authentication (2FA) adds another layer of security for your most important computer/cloud based accounts. 2FA adds a feature that supplements the basic username and password with two or more pieces of evidence with: 1) Something the user has or possesses, e.g., bank card and, 2) Something the user knows, e.g., the bank card pin.
DUK: The US government has determined that the Gulf of Mexico’s “dead zone”, an area of low oxygen that can kill fish and marine life, covers an area the size of New Jersey.
+ The Gulf of Mexico dead zone is caused by nutrient pollution primarily from agriculture and developed land runoff in the Mississippi River. These nutrients stimulate massive algae growth that eventually decomposes, which uses up the oxygen needed to support marine life in the Gulf.
